¡Y suena y suena!
“MS 20 Años” is the title of the new album with which Banda MS celebrates its 20th anniversary. The famous corridos recorded in 2006 return this time to showcase the band's vocal and instrumental maturity.
This release is preceded by “¿Qué Fronteras?”, the song they released in collaboration with rapper Ice Cube: a combination of genres to spread a message of cultural unity.
This success story begins in 2003 in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, with the birth of Banda MS by Sergio Lizárraga, who took the initials of his homeland to name the group. The band's founders managed to combine their ideas and concerns to offer the public a different and original product, using their own formula and imprinting a cheerful and versatile touch. The group has earned the nickname of “the most successful band”, a slogan that reflects the work they have done throughout more than 15 years of musical career. Youth, explosiveness and talent are the words that define the band today.
The 18 musicians that currently make up the band are aware that when things are done with faith and conviction, the results are always positive.
Twenty years have passed and much progress has been made, but there is still a long way to go.
