AARÓN Y SU GRUPO ILUSIÓN

"With feeling" is the slogan that has identified them for over two decades of a career in which they have proudly showcased their cumbia sonidera style. They are originally from Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl (Cd. Neza) in the State of Mexico and, to date, have released more than a dozen albums — all containing songs that have become fan favorites, such as: "Destilando amor," "Embrujo," "No voy a llorar," "Volver a verte," "Te vas," "La 2da de niña," and many more. Most of their repertoire is inspired and composed by Rafael González, the group’s leader.

In 2017, they released "PIEL A PIEL" (Skin to Skin), an album of duets featuring artists like Mariana Seoane, Panteón Rococó, Cristian Castro, Liberación, Kika Edgar, Mané de la Parra, El Poder del Norte, and La Original Banda el Limón, among others — all performing some of the group’s greatest hits. They are considered one of the most important romantic cumbia sonidera groups in the country.

In 2017, they performed for the first time at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City with a sold-out show, a success they repeated in 2018 with another consecutive sell-out. Both concerts featured guest artists, and around the same time, they also participated in El Macro Cumbión event in Anaheim, California.

In 2018, they released the album "UN POCO LOCOS" (A Little Crazy), where, for the first time, they decided to blend their sonidero sound with urban and techno-style arrangements. The first single promoted was "Corazón de papel" (Paper Heart), followed by tracks like "Esta noche," "Quiero contigo," and "Razón."

In 2019, they released the album "UN POCO LOCOS DELUXE," which included a DVD and guest artists. The album consists of 14 tracks: 11 from the original version and 3 new additions that added extra value to the production. Guest artists included Panteón Rococó, Aleida Núñez, Techy y su Grupo Aroma, Dany Frank, Marian Oviedo, and Grupo Kual Dinastía Pedraza.

In 2022, they released the album "VIVE UNA NOCHE MÁGICA (EN VIVO)" (Live a Magical Night), a live recording of their concert at the Lunario of the National Auditorium in Mexico City.

Currently, they have released some of the singles that will be part of the upcoming album to be launched in February 2025. This new production includes duets with Mariana Seoane, Ana Bárbara, Kalimba, Josi Cuen, Mad Fuentes, and May González.
