In 1999, the Garza brothers, Mario Alberto Garza and Luis Roberto Garza, realized their dream of dedicating themselves professionally to music by having their own band and recording for a multinational label (BMG Latin). Since they were children, their love for music was clear, and they began to attract attention on radio in the United States and Mexico, then under the name "Los Pazos." With a romantic tropical style, people quickly began to recognize them, and like everyone else, they went through a process of opening for other groups. Upon joining the DISA label, more doors began to open, and their style became more recognized. It was with their third production, "Las Dos Caras de la Cumbia," that their career was consolidated with two songs that continue to be played in the United States and Mexico to this day. "Tu Forma de Ser" quickly became a hit, not only reaching number one on grupera stations but also featuring pop stations in both countries. The song was not only featured alongside Regional Mexican artists, but also featured guests at events featuring international artists such as Enrique Iglesias, David Bisbal, Ha-Ash, Sin Bandera, and others. This song garnered four nominations for the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro awards, and was awarded the "Musical Event of the Year" award at La KeBuena in Los Angeles, California, that same year. From one moment to the next, these two young men from Monterrey, accompanied by their musical group, found themselves impacting stages across the country with their original style. "Tu Forma de Ser" was followed by a ballad that became the group's signature song: "Se ponen," written by Pepe Garza. Countless events began to be headlined by Alberto and Roberto, and special performances with important artists of the day. (Joan Sebastian, Pesado, etc.)
