Yadir Torres is a young singer-songwriter originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, where his passion for music was born through his family. His grandfather owned a mariachi band and invited him to sing at their shows. In addition to ranchero, Yadir also sang in the banda and sierreño genres, which sparked an interest in creating his own music. He learned to play string instruments such as the guitar, bajo quinto, and tololoche, and began composing on the accordion, creating his first song at the age of thirteen. Aside from music, Yadir is studying civil engineering and dedicates his free time to composing with friends and family, either creating new songs or covers of the songs he likes. She made her professional debut in 2023 with the release of her first live album, "A MI ESTILO," featuring songs that have shaped her life, reworked in a mountain style, refreshing them. As for her songwriting, she enjoys writing songs about heartbreak, drawing on personal experiences and those of acquaintances, which she is presenting monthly on digital platforms.
