Edith Márquez is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and actress who began her career in television competitions and was a member of Timbiriche. Her musical style blends pop, ballads, boleros, and rancheros. As a solo artist, she has released several albums since 1998, most notably "Frente a Ti" and "Quién te Cantará?". She is known as the Queen of the Palenques in Mexico. In 2018, she sang the National Anthem at major boxing matches. In 2021, she released the EP "+ Mexicana" and has collaborated with artists such as David Bisbal. Her career spans more than 37 years, with numerous hits and massive performances. In 2001, she was invited to the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile as a member of the jury, in addition to singing two songs from her first album, which were huge hits in South America.
