THE SINGER-SONGWRITER FROM COAHUILA DELIVERED A HISTORIC PERFORMANCE AT THE 26TH ANNUAL LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS, BECOMING ONE OF THE MOST IMPACTFUL ACTS OF THE NIGHT
Miami, FL (November 13, 2025) - Without a doubt, Vivir Quintana has experienced one of the most important cycles of her career: in addition to completing her first world tour, the “Fuimos Todas Tour 2025” (which took her to Spain, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, the United States, and Mexico), the singer-songwriter solidified herself as a key figure in contemporary music with her second studio album, 'Cosas que sorprenden a la audiencia.' Through ten corridos, this album tells the true stories of ten women who were deprived of their physical freedom for defending themselves from their aggressors, portraying the structural violence women face in Mexico and around the world.
Thanks to the talent, sensitivity, and strength of this album, Vivir received a nomination in the category of Best Singer-Songwriter Album at the most recent Latin Grammy Awards, where she shared the category with artists such as Natalia Lafourcade, Valeria Castro, Ale Zéguer, and Alejandro y María Laura.
In addition to this honor, Vivir was selected by the Latin Recording Academy to be one of the featured performers at the awards premiere, delivering one of the most moving performances of the night. Not only did she showcase her interpretive talent, but also the importance of her message, as each note became an echo of a struggle that transcends borders and languages.
All in all, the Mexican artist remains one of the voices that defined 2025, as her music transcended artistic boundaries. Throughout the year, Vivir proved that music can also be an agent of change and an incentive to improve the world we live in.
