IN A NEW DISPLAY OF SENSITIVITY AND TALENT, THE MEXICAN SINGER-SONGWRITER PERFORMS HER MUSIC AT ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST IMPORTANT FASHION SHOWS, INVITING MORE PEOPLE TO ENGAGE IN SOCIAL REFLECTION THROUGH ART
Miami, FL (June 27, 2025) – In recent years, Vivir Quintana has established herself as one of the most powerful and moving voices in contemporary Mexican music. Her message and music have transcended borders, resonating with audiences across Europe and South America.
Now, in a new step toward her internationalization, Vivir took the stage on June 27 during Paris Fashion Week as part of the Willy Chavarría SS26 (Spring-Summer 2026) fashion show, led by the acclaimed designer himself.
The Mexican artist performed at Salle Pleyel, a renowned symphonic concert hall in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, where she delivered moving renditions of “Te mereces un amor”—the title track of her debut album—and the iconic “Paloma negra”, a beloved composition by Tomás Méndez.
Once again, Quintana showcases the versatility of her project, proving herself to be an artist who not only crosses geographic boundaries but also disciplinary ones—fusing music with fashion and transforming both creative realms into a space for awareness, remembrance, and resistance.
Willy Chavarría is regarded as one of today’s most influential fashion designers. Among his many accolades is the prestigious “Menswear Designer of the Year” award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. His latest collection pays tribute to migrants and Chicano identity—causes also championed by Quintana, who was personally invited by Chavarría to accompany this aesthetic-political statement with her music, shedding light on the challenges faced by the Latinx community in the United States.
Vivir Quintana’s career is currently at one of its most meaningful and impactful stages. Not only is she building bridges across regions, art forms, and messages of social justice and resistance, but her artistic maturity is also reaching new heights—something audiences will be able to witness on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris, where she will present a groundbreaking show in her career.
So stay tuned—follow Vivir Quintana’s official social media channels to keep up with her creative journey, where music and fashion join forces to deliver a powerful social message and help build a more just world for all.
