Miami, FL (July 24, 2026) — VILAX unveils CAPÍTULO 8 (La Historia Completa), the album that brings to a close the project launched in May with the release of "CAPÍTULO 8." Available today on all digital streaming platforms, the 15-track production completes the band's musical journey while marking a new chapter in its artistic evolution.
Leading the album is "Ni al 50," a brand-new track that transforms a story of heartbreak into a rhythm-filled norteño cumbia. Blending honest lyrics with an irresistibly catchy melody, the song explores the imbalance of an unreciprocated relationship through relatable lines such as, “I've dedicated so many Nodal songs to you without you even noticing / Ya te dedico varias de Nodal sin que te des cuenta” y “You're giving one hundred percent, and I don't even feel like I'm giving fifty / Tú poniendo el cien por ciento y yo ni al cincuenta me siento”.
If the previous EP served as an introduction, CAPÍTULO 8 (La Historia Completa) brings every piece of the project together. While remaining rooted in VILAX's signature norteño sound—anchored by accordion, bajo quinto, and percussion—the album also expands its sonic palette with the addition of keyboards and electric guitar.
The release follows the success of GANAS (Deluxe), which earned a 2023 Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Best Tejano Album, further cementing the band's steady rise within the Regional Mexican music scene.
