Miami, FL (September 26, 2025) - After teaming up with Monterrey queens Sam Vázquez and NXNNI on the chaotic generational anthem “No Sé Wey”, 8ONTHEBEAT returns with a new chapter in his musical story. This time, he joins forces with fellow Los Angeles native Zoofunktion to release “Oye Mami”, an explosive single that fuses Latin vibes with the energy of global dance music.
With a hypnotic chorus repeating “Oye mami, muévete”, the track is made to sweat and vibe with the crowd. It shows Ocho at his cheekiest and most party-driven self, always on a mission to make sure no one stays sitting down.
The release comes with an official video shot at one of the Privadas con el Ocho, offering a genuine look at the phenomenon born from LA’s Latin community. Far from controlled sets or prefabricated productions, the video captures Ocho and Zoofunktion in the raw essence of the party—low lights, bodies in motion, and the collective energy you can only experience at a Privada.
Las Privadas con el Ocho are exactly what they sound like—parties made for and by LA’s Latino community. Surprise guests have included Deorro, Octavio Cuadras, Close Friends Only, Rayburger, Hag Music, among others, but the true headliner is always the collective energy that only the Latin community knows how to create. For those left wanting more, a new Privada will soon be announced on Ocho’s socials.
In addition, this Friday, September 26 at 12pm PST, Ocho will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special livestream on 3point5 via Twitch, where he’ll share music and conversations about his journey. The session will be hosted by streamers Detune and Vivivillain.
With this release, Ocho not only continues to expand his musical vision, but also sets the stage for new surprises that confirm he’s only just getting started.
“Oye Mami” is now available on all digital platforms.
