Miami, FL (August 8, 2025) – SAHIR MONTOYA returns with a brand-new collaboration alongside ESTEVAN PLAZOLA, an artist currently known for his powerful duets with some of the hottest names in music. Together, they release “NECIA” today — a song that tells the story of a forbidden love, where a girl’s parents disapprove of her relationship.
Now available on all digital platforms, this new track explores the sierreño genre, enriched by the sounds of charchetas. The lyrics describe a carefree relationship with no strings attached — just living in the moment, without long-term expectations. “NECIA” was produced by Marcelo Rivera, a renowned music producer who has become a key figure in the evolution of contemporary regional Mexican music.
“This song came from a dream I had — I was on stage in front of a huge crowd and the song started playing. I woke up quickly to record the melody as a voice note so I wouldn’t forget it. I tried writing lyrics on my own later, but for some reason, I couldn’t finish it. I finally completed it with Alejandro Hernández, César Gámez, and Marcelo Rivera,” shared the singer-songwriter.
At just 20 years old, SAHIR MONTOYA has already shown a unique talent for crafting hit songs. He continues to make waves with tracks like “La P-90,” “El Kiru,” and “Mustangson,” which have racked up millions of streams and are helping solidify his place as one of the most promising voices in the corrido scene.
