Miami, FL (January 9, 2026) — Octavio Cuadras continues to unveil one of the most intense and creative phases of his career with the release of “Igual Y Ya No,” an unreleased track alongside Nathan Galante that marks the second preview of his upcoming album 'INSANIA,' scheduled for release in April 2026.
Within the sierreño genre, accompanied by charcheta and accordion, “Igual Y Ya No” is a deeply emotional song that explores regret, resignation, and the inner struggle that follows a romantic breakup. The lyrics portray a protagonist trapped in post-breakup pain, aware of his mistakes and the impossibility of turning back, yet still torn between the desire to recover what was lost and taking refuge in bad habits as a coping mechanism.
This release is part of the conceptual universe of 'INSANIA', a project that reflects the musical experimentation and creative freedom Octavio has embraced in this new stage. The term Insania—meaning madness, insanity, or alienation—encapsulates the emotional state that runs through the album’s songs, where vulnerability and intensity become the central axis of its artistic narrative.
In addition to establishing himself as a performer, Octavio Cuadras also stands out as a co-writer of this track alongside renowned songwriter Horacio Palencia. He recently participated in the composition of “24/7” by Máximo Grado and Alemán, and has collaborated on various songs for artists such as Edgardo Núñez, Picus, Sam Vázquez, and Padrinito Toys, among others.
With “Igual Y Ya No,” Octavio Cuadras and Nathan Galante deliver an honest, raw, and deeply human song that continues to pave the way toward INSANIA and confirms Octavio as one of the most interesting and versatile voices of the new generation of regional Mexican music.
