Miami, FL (June 5, 2026) – Morenito de Fuego is part of “El Mundial Más Norteño” (“The Most Norteño World Cup”), the official song that will accompany FIFA World Cup activities in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico. The musical project celebrates the region’s identity, culture, and diversity before a global audience.
The production brings together prominent artists from Monterrey’s and Mexico’s music scenes, including El Plan, Morenito de Fuego, RENEE, APV Passion Vallenata, Jony Beltrán, and Flip Tamez, each contributing their unique style and essence to a song designed to showcase the rhythms, flavors, and colors that define the city known as the Sultana of the North.
The song was specially written by Morenito de Fuego for this international event and produced by Jair Alcalá and Victoria Khune. The official music video was filmed at some of Monterrey’s most iconic landmarks and throughout its metropolitan area, highlighting the region’s cultural, tourism, and urban richness.
Morenito de Fuego’s participation in the project represents a significant recognition of his career and contributions to regional music, as he joins an initiative aimed at showcasing Nuevo León’s identity during one of the world’s most important sporting events.
The song and official music video are now available on digital platforms. The audiovisual project was also shared on social media by Nuevo León Governor Samuel García, who praised it as a reflection of the talent and pride that characterize the state as it prepares to welcome the FIFA World Cup.
