Miami, FL (January 30, 2026) – With more than 20 years of experience, MIKE BALMORY fulfills the dream of his lifetime: forging a career as a solo artist. Today, that dream becomes a full reality with the release of his album 'CUMBIERO Y ENAMORADO.'
Originally from Joaquín, Veracruz, MIKE developed his career as a vocalist with the group Súper Lamas, and all the experience gained during that time is reflected in this release, which finds him more excited than ever and ready to work toward establishing himself as a leading figure in Latin cumbia.
'CUMBIERO Y ENAMORADO' is a seven-track album made up entirely of cumbia songs, most of them covers of well-known groups that have achieved success throughout Central and South America. On this production, MIKE BALMORY includes two duet tracks with the talented and stunning Mariana Seoane: “DPM” (originally by Kany García) and “El clavito,” the latter serving as the flagship track of the album.
This album is pure flavor—pure cumbia—blending different styles and musical arrangements to deliver a personal and unique take on songs such as “Me gustas,” written by Raymix, “Cumbia y cerveza,” “Amapola,” “Eres mi sueño,” a hit by Fonseca, and closing with the track “Contigo.”
