Miami, FL (August 29, 2025) – The gears of LA MAQUINARIA NORTEÑA never stop turning, and this time they do so to unveil their new musical project: 'THE MEAN MACHINE.'
'THE MEAN MACHINE' is the title of the new album LA MAQUINARIA presents today. Made up of 12 songs, this record is produced by brothers Rory and Tony Nieto, along with Diego Ojeda, Humberto Novoa, and Sergio Soto.
“Disfraces” is the leading focus track of this material, written by Alfonso de la Cruz and Dany Pérez. Accompanying it are songs such as “Como perrito valiente”, “Lo que un día fue no será” (a cover of José José), and “Elijo mi paz”, among many others.
LA MAQUINARIA NORTEÑA are pioneers of the norteño-sax genre, which has given them a successful career spanning 19 years—during which they have topped radio popularity charts and earned nominations for major music awards such as Premio Lo Nuestro.
'THE MEAN MACHINE' is a highly versatile album featuring cumbias, norteño tracks, and romantic ballads, just as the group has always delivered.
