BANDA EL RECODO EXPANDS ITS INTERNATIONAL LEGACY WITH A SECOND CONSECUTIVE EUROPEAN TOUR

THE ICONIC GROUP ALSO RECORDS THE OFFICIAL TELETHON THEME SONG AND PARTICIPATES IN THE FIFA FAN FEST

Miami, FL (June 5, 2026) — The world-renowned BANDA EL RECODO DE CRUZ LIZÁRRAGA continues to solidify its legacy and global presence by announcing that, for the second consecutive year, it will embark on a major European tour during the months of September and October 2026.

Known as the “Madre de Todas las Bandas” (Mother of All Bands), Banda El Recodo will bring the power and tradition of Sinaloan music to thousands of fans across Europe this fall. The tour will kick off on September 18 in Rome, Italy, followed by Dublin, Ireland on September 19 and London, England on September 20. The group will then continue through Spain with stops in Seville on September 24, Valencia on September 25, and Madrid on September 26, before heading to Amsterdam, Netherlands on September 27. The European run will conclude with performances in Munich, Germany on September 30 and Zurich, Switzerland on October 1.

This new tour reaffirms the enormous connection BANDA EL RECODO maintains with European audiences and the continued international growth of one of the most important groups in Mexican music.

As if that weren't enough, the group has also been chosen to perform the official theme for Teletón 2026 — a very special song written by the band members themselves. The music video for this heartfelt project was recently filmed in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, under the direction of Leche Ruiz, a renowned Mexican filmmaker who recently directed several episodes of the series "Chespirito: Sin querer queriendo.”

BANDA EL RECODO's schedule is busier than ever. On June 9 and 10, the group will perform at the Auditorio Nacional as part of the "México Vibra" concerts, a major event bringing together prominent figures from regional Mexican music and pop on one stage.

Additionally, on June 11, BANDA EL RECODO will be part of the historic FIFA FAN FEST taking place at the Zócalo in Mexico City — a venue that will be transformed into the ultimate gathering point for fans during the opening of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, symbolically becoming the "Templo Mayor" of world football.
